Papa John’s has announced plans to consolidate its international team in its UK corporate office in Milton Keynes as part of a global reorganization.

The move will create 10 new technology jobs in the UK, and will support the opening of 40 new franchise stores in 2021, creating a further 800 new jobs, the company told MCA.

Papa John’s said it is centralising all international operations in Milton Keynes to better support franchisees and the brand’s growth.

Technology responsibilities will transition to the UK over the next six months, with a new technology team recruited in the UK headed up by a new Technology VP.

Jack Swaysland, Papa John’s chief operating officer – international, said the move would put the brand in a stronger position to realize opportunities for international growth.

He said: “Consolidating our international talent in one place will help grow our business internationally both where we are already and where there is demand for Papa John’s in new markets. We see many exciting opportunities not just in the world’s high streets but also through innovative new partnerships, such as sports venues, holiday destinations and other locations.

“By streamlining operations, facilitating greater collaboration in one time zone, and building on our considerable success in the UK, our international headquarters will enable us to support existing and new franchisees even better as we deliver on the very latest trends in food consumption around the globe. I look forward to welcoming the international team to Milton Keynes and continuing Papa John’s great momentum in all parts of the world.”

Papa John’s currently plans to complete the consolidation of its international operations by Spring 2021.
