Caprice Holdings has reported financial results for the year to 1 January 2023, with a 71% increase in turnover to £74m.

The Scott’s and Sexy Fish operator reported the increase was driven by a full year of trading for all restaurants and the member’s club.

The company also opened two new restaurants during the year, Scotts Richmond in September and Bacchanalia in November.

Adjusted EBITDA was £12.3m, compared to £0.6m the year before, while gross profit margin was 77%, compared to 78.7%.

Profit after tax amounted to £840,000, up from a loss of £4,096 the year before.

The results come as Bill’s Restaurants reported turnover of £104m in 2022, while turnover at the Ivy Collection surpassed £300m during the same period.

Last week, Sexy Fish chief marketing officer Piers Walker told MCA the brand has identified several potential new locations as it teases a fourth site in Dubai.
