Beavertown Brewery has announced results for the period from April 1 2022 to 31 December 2022 , with total revenue of £71.7m up from £65.1m the previous year. 

Gross profit for the period was £22.4m, compared to £24.8m for the period ending 31 March 2022.

The Heineken-backed business increased its cost of sales to £49.3m during the period.

Analysis of turnover by market showed an increase in UK turnover to £69.5m, with European turnover remaining static at £2.2m. 

During the period, Heineken UK purchased remaining shares in Beavertown Brewery, assuming full ownership of London’s largest brewery.

As part of the agreement, founder Logan Plant stepped down as CEO and took on a new advisory role, with Jochen Van Esch, taking on the new managing director role.

Beavertown continues to be operated as a separate entity with its own functional teams including sales, marketing, brewing and wider existing teams.
