Azzurri Group digital & technology director Joel Robinson has joined the line-up of Hostech, where he will discuss the digital transformation journey and critical tech infrastructure at the ASK and Zizzi operator. He will also share innovative ideas to tackle the challenge of managing complex datasets at the Italian casual dining group.

He is joined by Stonegate Group marketing director James Metcalfe, who will share more about the pub company’s newly launched digital network, MiXR, which connects guests to the entire 850-strong managed estate – while also providing opportunities for brands to tap into circa 100 million guest visits each year through digital retail media.

The Ivy Collection chief technology officer Jon Davis will reveal more about why The Ivy Premier Rewards is “more than just an app”, but an invitation to an elevated dining experience through exclusive rewards and seamless reservations.

Meanwhile Pizza Express digital and loyalty director Arslan Sharif will tell the story of the casual dining brand’s multi-million loyalty scheme, and how it drives loyalty across dine-in, delivery and retail channels.

At Gail’s Bakery head of e-commerce Rosie Hill will update progress on Building craft at scale, and argue how technological adoption isn’t just about evolution; it’s about revolutionising the way the company bakes and engages with its communities.

And in a special three-strong panel, JKS Restaurants will join the dots between digital marketing, events and reservations, and ops, and show how through a collaborative cross department effort, the group has reimagined their digital guest journey as an end-to-end unified whole.

With a focus on financial technology, Pizza Pilgrims FD Sophie Gilchriest will explore how bespoke innovation is driving financial efficiencies and operational insight.

And rounding up the various themes, start-up founder, author and futurist Tom Weaver will open proceedings and ask the big question, such as whether AI should be seen as a friend or foe.

Alongside presentations, there are a range of topic-lead panel discussions from experts in their field.

These include a sessions on targeted marketing & tools of the trade, featuring Sam Bourke of Fuller’s; Simran Sablok of Creams; and Richard Whitehouse of Mitchells & Butlers.

Timothy Love of Burger King; Gabriella Overeem of Uber Eats UKI; and Zal Dordi of Slerp will discuss the evolution and innovation in delivery.

We will consider the tech powering experiential leisure, with Gavin Williams of F1® Arcade, Nick Jones of Lucky Voice and Juliette Keyte of Red Engine.

And looking at tech as a growth enabler, Keith Bird of Marugame Udon, Stefan Marjanovic of Sessions, Tsara Taylor of Rosa’s Thai Café , and Jess Wright of Caravan join the programme.
