Nominations are now open for the MCA Hospitality Awards 2024 – with less than one week left to make your submissions.

Marking the 25th anniversary of the prestigious industry event, previously known as the Retailers’ Retailers Awards, operators, suppliers and observers can vote for their Best Restaurant, Best Pub/Bar and overall Best Concept.

Other returning categories include Deal of the Year, Emerging Concept and Best New Opening.

There are also new categories, such as Best QSR Company, recognising the impressive growth and resilience of the category.

MCA’s Hospitality Awards 2024 sees the event return to its traditional home, The Guildhall, on 14 March.

Once nominations close, we will enter the next phase and reveal the shortlisted companies and individuals.

From there, the sector will have the chance to vote for the overall category winners.

This year, there are also three special panel-judged categories, covering the Sustainability, Rising Star and Diversity Leadership Programme awards.

These awards are self-nominated, so please reach out to MCA editor Finn Scott-Delany if you would like to find out more and make a submission.

The Sustainability award goes to a company or brand that has gone above and beyond in demonstrating its commitment to reducing its impact on the environment.

The Rising Star award goes to an outstanding individual in a multi-site management team (e.g., an HR, FD, operations/site manager) who is rising through the ranks and is a star of the business.

The Diversity Leadership award recognises the business which has done the most to demonstrate its commitment to promoting and supporting employees from under-represented and minority backgrounds on their journey from the front line to the boardroom.
