Hummus Bros, the London-based healthy eating concept, said it was concerned about the impact of Brexit of the business.

Co-founder Christian Mouyset told MCA it was an uncertain time and he did not know what the impact of Brexit would be.

“A lot of our team members are from Europe. I am not sure who will be working for us,” he said.

“There is a lot of uncertainty, with food prices going up, business rates and costs increasing.”

The company recently raised £165K using crowdfunding scheme Seedrs to fund the opening of its seventh site.

He told MCA that it had a couple of London sites as options with one in legals but nothing confirmed.

The chain currently has London sites in Soho, Holborn, St Paul’s, Exmouth Market, Gray’s Inn Road and Eastcheap.
