Breakfast Club, the licensed all-day café chain, is set to open its fourth site in London, near Spitalfields Market.

The Artillery Lane site, which will open in May, will be the groups’ biggest so far, with 100-110 covers.

Founded in 2005 by former head of public/customer relations at the Football Association Jonathan Arana-Morton with his sister-in-law Alison, the company also operates sites in Angel, Hoxton and Soho.

Jonathan told M&C Report that the company, which is backed by private funding, continued to look at further opportunities to expand but was conscious that all new openings like its current outlets would each have their own “identity”.

He said: “We are always looking for new sites and are prepared to move quickly if an appropriate opportunity presented itself. There are certain areas that we believe the concept would ideally suit, such as Clapham, and Notting Hill.”

Breakfast Club is a small London chain of licensed cafes that specialise in all manner of breakfasts and also serve a wide range of food including burgers, burritos, salads, wraps and sandwiches.

Property advisor Davis Coffer Lyons acted on behalf of the landlord on the deal for the Artillery Lane site.
