City Bars & Restaurants is opening 10 Room Covent Garden in October in a £1.5m redevelopment of the New Connaught Rooms It will combine two floors of function rooms, including a restaurant and a series of lounges.
All About Eve, a dining room and bar, will reserve membership exclusively for women. The restaurant will be called The Kitchen and will focus on "inexpensive" food with a menu based on organic rotisserie chicken dishes that can be ordered in a choice of 12 styles.
Now proprietor Terry Pullen is planning a fifth 10 Room in Knightsbridge next summer and more bars and restaurants in leading British and European cities. He is looking to float the company longer term.
