Almost a third of new businesses launched in the UK over the next two years will begin as a pop-up , a new study has claimed.

The poll showed that 29% of those planning to start a business wanted to test out the market and their product to hone their offering.

According to the survey, 30% of would-be entrepreneurs are seeking to launch a pop-up selling food, while 18% will offer drinks.

“Pop-ups have become a tried and tested business strategy,” said EE’s director of small business, Mike Tomlinson.
