Just over one in five respondents to this survey (21%) expect to bring back their staff from furlough by or after June, Lumina Intelligence’s Hospitality Leaders Poll reveals.
The poll found nearly half (49%) of respondents plan to bring back all staff members as soon as possible.
About a quarter (27%) of respondents plan to bring back all staff members gradually over the year.
Meanwhile than two in five (42%) believe the government plan to introduce plain clothes police to bars and clubs is a bad idea, as the industry has already made significant investments to tackle safety issues.
Nearly three-quarters of respondents to this survey (74%) are confident in the future of their business.
