A distillery on the West coast of Scotland this week begins producing the world's strongest whisky at 92%. Bruichladdich, at Islay, will revive the ancient tradition of quadruple distilled single malt, which is expected to become a classic because only 12 barrels are being produced. A company spokesman said the whisky would be "very floral" and added "most importantly it will take your breath away".
