The Aviation Environment Federation has taken some of the thunder away from KLM's announcement this week that 30% of all coffee provided on its flights will in future come from sustainable farms. The environmental group told The Times that the airline would have to plant 15,500 sq miles of forest to offset the carbon emissions KLM's aircrafts would cause over the next 20 years.
