McDonald’s is to open its biggest restaurant in the world on the site of the 2012 Olympics in Stratford, London. According to The Sun, the two storey building, measuring 3,000 square metres, will be one of four on the Olympics site, including one in the athletes’ village. McDonald’s, an Olympics sponsor, expects to serve 50,000 Big Macs and 180,000 portions of fries over the 29 days of the Olympics, the newspaper reports.
