Whitbread is reportedly set to review its digital advertising accounts for its clutch of pub restaurant brands. According to Campaign, the marketing industry magazine, the group wants a greater cohesion for its Beefeater, Brewers Fayre, Table Table and Taybarns brands. The company also wants to build a greater social media presence. Previously, the group has retained separate agencies for each brand but it now hopes to employ one such firm for its entire portfolio. An increased focus on social media would ape a similar move by Mitchells & Butlers, which has almost 120,000 fans of its Toby Carvery brand on Facebook.
