Wagamama, the noodle chain backed by Lion Capital, is set to open its first site in Belfast. A 3,000 sq ft restaurant will open in Victoria Square in the city this November. It currently operates four other restaurants within Ireland, including two in Dublin and one in Cork. The second site in Dublin opened in Blanchardstown area of the city earlier this month. Wagamama, led by Steve Hill, has about 70 restaurants in the UK, plus an international franchised business plus fourt sites in America.
