Wagamama, the fast casual noodle bar chain, is to open a new restaurant in Edinburgh, its fourth site in Scotland. The company has plans in place with Lloyds Banking Group to take over the former Bank of Scotland branch on Lothian Road. This is provided it can obtain planning permission to change the unit to a restaurant. The group already operates outlets in Livingston, Glasgow and Aberdeen and the decision to open one in Edinburgh came after a Facebook campaign. The campaign has been ongoing for the last three years and currently has over 200 members.
