Tragus Holdings, the operator of Café Rouge, is understood to be preparing to roll out its fledgling British bar and brasserie concept Huxleys Bar & Kitchen. The concept is producing weekly sales of £60,000 at its launch site at Heathrow despite the fact that Terminal Five is only running at about 60% capacity. The group has launched the menu at a second site in London’s Limeburner Lane, in the City, and is understood to have briefed property agents about site requirements. It is thought that the company is looking for other airport locations and end-of-high-street leasehold properties, including pub sites. The Huxleys menu includes kedgeree, steak and kidney pudding, steaks and traditional puddings such as spotted dick.
