India's top chefs are flocking to London, lured by high salaries and superstar status.

The situation is so acute that India is experiencing a chef drain.

It began two years ago when two restaurants in England, Zaika and Tamarind, became the first Indian establishments in the world to be awarded a Michelin star.

The chefs coming to the UK are the products of the Taj or the Oberoi group of hotels. They are regarded as princes of their profession.
