The Restaurant Group looks a healthy prospect for investors as its recent restructuring pays off. Shares have recently fallen 22% in six months to 261p but brokers advise that this is short-term volatility that provides a good buying opportunity. The company has focused on making its Chiquito chain more family-friendly and its is generating strong sales and profit growth. It has also moved its restaurants – which also include the Garfunkel’s, Blubeckers and Frankie & Benny’s chains – away from high streets and into leisure parks and airports.
