London’s restaurant industry is now viewed as the most exciting in the world alongside New York, according to restaurant critic and restaurateur Nicholas Lander. Lander, who opened L’Escargot in London’s Soho in 1981, says that eating in restaurants has now become a part of the British way of life and can offer a rewarding career path to young chefs and proprietors.
