Leon, the all-day café concept based on “better-for-you” food, is to open a new site in London’s Soho. The group, led by Henry Dimbleby, has exchanged contracts on a venue in Old Compton Street. The leasehold property, which currently trades as an amusement arcade, will make way for a 100-cover restaurant. The passing rent on the property is thought to be in the region of £200,000. The business, which was founded by Dimbleby and John Vincent in 2005, operates 10 sites, all within London except for one location at Bluewater Shopping centre in Kent.
