Adam and Sam Kaye, the founders of the ASK pizza and pasta chain, have filed plans to list their latest restaurant business, Dim T, on AIM. The listing will be used to raise £1.75m to expand the concept, which has three London outlets, serving Vietnamese, Japanese and Thai cuisine. The company will go by the name “Tasty plc”. Although Adam and Sam Kaye will sit on the board, the business will be run by chief executive Jonny Plant, formerly of Wagamama, and chaired by Keith Lassman, a London lawyer. The Kaye brothers are the main investors in the venture, with a 47% stake. Their father Phillip, who founded the Golden Egg and Garfunkel’s restaurant chain, owns a further 7.51%. Their cousin Jonathan, chief executive of Prezzo, the AIM-listed pizza chain, has a similar stake. The company, which is being advised by Evolution Securities, is due to open two further London sites and restaurants in Tunbridge Wells, Nottingham and Loughton, Essex, by the end of the year.
