Jonathan Kaye, the chief executive of Prezzo, has banked £2m through the sale of shares in the company. Kaye, part of the famous entrepreneurial family that has launched restaurant brands such as Garfunkel's, ASK and Dim T, sold four million shares at a price of 50p each. The sale still leaves the Prezzo founder with more than 22 million shares - 10.2% of the company - which are worth £12.3m at the current share price of 53.75p. Additionally, fellow directors Michael Carlton and Kuldip Sehmi, exercised share options over 263,160 and 600,000 shares. Following the sale, Carlton and Sehmi hold options over 200,000 and 3.5m shares respectively. They also have private holdings of 900,000 and 144,000 shares each.
