Gail’s, the artisan bakery operator, is to open its 10th site in London this December. The company, in which Luke Johnson holds a majority stake, has taken a new lease on the Dolce café site in Wardour Street, Soho, with an opening planned before the end of the year. Last month, the group appointed Jake Emerson as its new group finance director. Gail’s was set up in 2005 by ex-city traders Ran Avidan and Tom Molnar in conjunction with Gail Stephens, founder of Baker and Spice. Property advisor Richard Susskind & Company Retail and Leisure acted on behalf of the tenant in the Wardour street deal.
