Fishworks, the four-strong seafood restaurant group, has set its sights on opening three more restaurants in London this year, according to Roy Morris, its chief executive and majority shareholder. The company has secured a loan facility of £400,000 from Bank of Scotland to fund expansion and ongoing business costs. As the group grows, more finance is expected to be made available. Morris secured a 57.2% share in the group in December 2003, but a waiver by shareholders means he will not have to make a general offer for the company. Fishworks opened its first restaurant in Bath in 1998 and runs further sites in Bristol, Christchurch and Chiswick.
