Fine Burger Co., the upmarket burger concept, has continued its move to focus on its portfolio of mobile units, with the disposal of its remaining high street restaurant site in London’s Islington. The group, which js led by Robert Tame, has disposed of the site in Upper Street to new operator Some Frogs' in a Restaurant Ltd. The site will be re-opened as an independent French restaurant operated by Valery Taillandier. Tame said: “The Fine Burger Co is committed to pursuing the lucrative opportunities presented by our growing mobile and event catering division, as well as our quality, quick service outlets at St Pancras International Station and Excel Exhibition Centre. The company is re-trenching from the less dynamic high street environment although we will be retaining our flagship 120-cover restaurant at London’s O2 Centre, in Finchley Rd, North West London.” Davis Coffer Lyons advised The Fine Food Company on the disposal of the Islington site. The chain’s mobile unit will appear at a number of events this year, including the RHS Flower Shows at Hampton Court and Tatton Park, the RHS Chelsea Flower Show, the British Open, Lords, and the London's Olympic Games, as well as festivals such as V, Bestival, Reading, Latitude and Isle of Wight.
