Bill’s Produce, the grocery and café concept run by the entrepreneurs behind Cote, will open its fifth site in Cambridge at the end of this month. The group is set to open its fifth outlet on 29 June on the site of the former Slug & Lettuce in the town's Green Street, which occupies a building that used to be part of a large department store. Marcus Cload, a director, told M&C Report, that the group hoped to open further sites this year and that it was continuing to seek suitable expansion opportunities for the concept. Chichester has long been mooted as the group’s next likely destination. The group, which was founded by Bill Collison and is backed by Richard Caring, currently has four other sites in Brighton, Lewes, Reading and London’s Covent Garden.
