Covent Garden Restaurant Group, the privately owned restaurant and bar company, is understood to have appointed Deloitte to advise on a possible £25m to £30m sale of the business, writes The Times. The West-End based company is thought to be considering a sale as part of a review of its strategic options. The group currently owns seven brands, which it runs out of five venues, which include the Rock Garden and Gardening Club, The International, and Katana and Tutton’s Brasserie. In November last year it opened a new bar called Dirty Martini in the centre of Covent Garden. The group also owns Fire and Stone, a 240-cover gourmet pizza restaurant, and has plans to open a second restaurant under the brand in Soho this year.
