Cote, the French bistro chain backed by Richard Caring, has secured a further site in London in Blackheath, its 20th in the capital. The 33-strong group, which recently secured the Chelsea Brasserie site at Sloane Square Hotel, has taken on the Fistik Kebab Brassie overlooking the Royal Parade in the London borough, with an opening planned before the end of the year. Fistik was owned by Eddie Ertan, who operates a number of other venues in the area. Shelley Sandzer acted in behalf of Cote. In June, company, which recently denied sale rumours, opened a flagship site in central London, after acquiring the Auberge restaurant in St Christophers Place from Town Centre Restaurants (TCR).
