Cote Restaurants, the French bistro chain run by Andy Bassadone and owned by Richard Caring, is understood to have secured two new sites in Exeter and London, which are set to open later this year. M&C Report understands that the group has secured the Café Bistro site in Cathedral Square, Exeter and the Rasa restaurant site in Charlotte Street, London. In December, it secured a lease on the NW1 Bar on the Parkway in Camden, which is set to re-open as a Cote this quarter. Last month, the group opened its 30th site in Esher, Surrey, which is thought to be trading “above expectations”. Shelley Sandzer is believed to have acted on behalf Cote on the Charlotte Street deal. The company is set to open the latest Bill’s Produce next week in Islington and has completed on a deal to open a site under the concept in Exeter.
