Susan Arndt has stood down as chairman of Chop’d, the London-based salad bar chain. Arndt had been chairman of Chop’d since its inception in 2004 and supported five fund raising rounds during her time at the six-strong chain. It is thought that Arndt has stepped down from Chop’d to concentrate on her roles as programme director at TalkTalk Group and as director & principal at Ferrell Jacobs Ltd. No decision has yet to be made on a replacement for Arndt. Chop’d is thought to be close to adding a 7th site in capital to its estate, after completing its latest round of fundraising earlier this year. The group is also believed to be in negotiations with banks regarding financing options to open its 8th and 9th sites. The company, which is led by managing director Eddie Holmes, has six outlets in London – Canary Wharf, Leadenhall Market, Mayfair, Spitalfields, St Pancras International and a bar in the food hall of Selfridges.
