Chop Chop Noodle Bars, the Asian fast food noodle concept, is set to open its sixth restaurant just before Christmas in Camden. The new restaurant will be located on the site of the former Henry J Beans on Camden High Street. The company has signed a five-year renewable lease on the site and will pay rent of £135,000 a year. The 80-cover buffet style noodle bar will offer a combination of South Pacific, Malaysian and Indonesian fast food, as well as fresh juice for the healthy option. Stanley Cheung, owner of Chop Chop, which is backed by private investment, said that he considers his restaurants to be “a cheaper version of Wagamama, offering good food for about half the price”. Cheung said that he is looking to open about two new restaurants a year, with the main criteria being a good location. Davis Coffer Lyons handled the deal.
