Chez Max, the French restaurant founded in 1988, is to reopen on the site of Marco Pierre White’s Parisienne Chop House on Brompton Road, London.

The 120-seat site will be run by Max Renzland, who, with his late twin brother Marc opened the first Chez Max. The original Chez Max closed after two years and a second went into receivership in 1996.

White will not take an active role in he running of the restaurant but will provide financial backing with business partner Jimmy Lahoud.
