Several successful British restaurateurs are planning to open premises in New York. Iqbal Wahib is to open an upmarket Cinnamon Club Indian restaurant at the start of 2005, while Yo! Sushi chief executive Robin Rowland says he is "confident" that the restaurant’s first site in the city will open next year. Theodore Kyriakou says several restaurateurs have approached him about opening a version of his successful Hoxton restaurant the Real Greek in New York, and Gordon Ramsay says "opening in New York is a dream for me".
