Brindisa, the Spanish food and drink retailer and tapas bar operator, is looking to open two restaurants in Central London. The group, which is headed by Monika Linton, said that is was in negotiations over two locations, including the former Gouldies Wholefoods store on Broadwick Street and the site of a former florist shop in South Kensington. Linton plans to open the sites as restaurants rather than retail outlets by the end of this year. Brindisa currently has a shop in Exmouth Market, Clerkenwell selling Spanish artisan food and drink products, a stall at Borough Market and a tapas restaurant in London Bridge.
