Bay Restaurant Group (BRG), the casual dining and bar operator formed out of Laurel Pub Company, has put three leasehold restaurants on the market. The three sites, which trade under the La Tasca and La Vina brands, are being marketed through Colliers CRE. All three have been the subject of significant capital expenditure projects in recent times. The three outlets are located in: Brentwood, Essex; Islington, London; and Wallingford, Oxfordshire. The 3,300sq ft Brentwood restaurant, which trades as a La Tasca, has just under 22 years remaining on a 25-year lease, with an annual rent of £80,000. The 3,100sq ft Islington restaurant – just off Upper Street – has about 18 years left on a 25 year lease, with an annual rent of just over £105,000. The 5,000sq ft Wallingford restaurant, which trades as a La Vina, has just under 22 years remaining on a 25-year lease, with an annual rent of £70,000. Staff at the sites are not thought to be aware of BRG’s intentions to dispose of the leases.
