A new restaurant promising food free from all types of additives has proved a big success in Barcelona. FoodBALL, from the people behind Camper, promises food free from "pesticides, chemical fertilisers, additivies, radioactivity, animal fats, genetic manipulation, and with no refined flour, sugar or salt." FoodBALL is also lacking in tables and chairs, featuring instead what could only be described as a large stone staircase that customers sit on. In its first month of opening, FoodBALL has attracted 3,000 people, and ten more restaurants are planned. Miguel Fluxa has described the concept, which appears t lack any business imperative as a "non-restaurant". He said: "It's not a bar or a restaurant, but a way of understanding food culture."
