Young’s, the brewer and pub operator, has bought a £2m London managed pub from Punch Taverns. The group, led by Stephen Goodyear, has acquired the Lass O’Richmond Hill, a Chef & Brewer site, which it plans to run as a food-led pub. The deal saw Young’s buy the pub, which is located near Richmond Park, from an asking price of £2m. It is expected to invest a further £400,000 to £500,000 refurbishing the venue before it re-opens later this year. AG&G, the property agent, is thought to have advised on the transaction. The pub was put up for sale about a year ago. It is believed that a deal to sell it to a property developer fell through.
