Stonegate, the 560-strong TDR Capital-backed managed pub operator, has re-opened one of its London pubs after a £175k refurbishment. The Argyle in Greville Street, formerly the King of Diamonds, in Clerkenwell has been redecorated across its three trading areas. New furniture and a new colour scheme have been introduced throughout. The terrace area, which fits 70 people, has been updated with new tiling as well as new furniture. New promotions will also be available, including ales for £1.99 under a Monday Beer Club, a curry-and-a-drink-for-£7.99 deal on Tuesdays, and two-for-one cocktails on Wednesday evenings.
