Stonegate Pub Company has invested £150,000 for a completely new look at the Danson Stables pub in Bexleyheath, Greater London, writes Gurjit Degun Plans for the pub include a change of colour scheme inside, new and upholstered furniture and altering the bar area making it easier to serve customers and “generally give the pub the TLC that it deserves”. At the front of the pub, new plants, herbs and topiary will be introduced along with new outdoor furniture. The Danson Stables also receives a new licensee, Kerry Bird, who has been in the trade for over ten years and has run a number of pubs in London and the south east. She said: “The Danson Stables is a truly stunning grade II-listed building in a beautiful location with so much to offer the local community and those who use Danson Park. “Whilst the pub is closed, the team will be undergoing training in all elements of service, making sure that when we open, our customers will experience great service.”
