Spirit Pub Company is continuing to trim the tail of its leased estate, after a placing a further package of pubs from the c.550-strong division on the market. It has placed another five freehold pubs on the market through Christie + Co, which range in price from £200,000 for the Cross Foxes in Flintshire to £350,000 for the Asbury Tavern in Birmingham. The other pubs are in Ipswich, Staffordshire, Gwynedd and Flintshire. It had already placed another batch of five Spirit freehold pubs on the market through Christie + Co in September. All five remain available. At the same time, nine sites are currently for sale through Colliers International, while a handful are also on the market with James A Baker. Spirit is disposing of the tail of its leasehold estate following its demerger from Punch Taverns in August.
