Nearly two-thirds of pub operators spend between two and seven hours a week dealing with government red tape, a survey by the Association of Licensed Multiple Retailers shows. Compliance costs each UK pub £30,000 a year on average, according to the survey of 3,000 tenants, reported in M&C Report sister trade magazine Morning Advertiser.
