The Three Tuns Inn in Bishop's Castle, Shropshire, has been put on the market for £570,000. In 1974 the Three Tuns was one of only four own-brew pubs left in the country. Six years ago it was saved from ruin by a local consortium. Jan Cross, the pub's landlady said: "The partnership saved the pub six years ago and we invested a lot of money and time restoring it. "We are not going to sell it off now to a property developer who wants to change it. It will only be sold as a pub."
