Women in their 20s put a good local pub at the top of their list of priorities when seeking a new place to live, ahead of supermarkets and schools, new research from Alliance & Leicester showed. One in five women in their 20s rate pubs as their number one priority. Overall, most people still rate schools as the key local service, with 30% choosing education as their number one priority, while more than 60% of respondents in their 30s chose schools as the key service. A quarter of those who replied said supermarkets were the number one local amenity, a figure that climbed to 43% of those aged 60 or more.
