Senior pubco figures are to give evidence at the next hearing of the Business, Innovation & Skills Committee’s (BISC) follow-up inquiry into pubcos, confirmed for 7 July, writes Michelle Perrett. The hearing is due to begin at 9.30am and will feature: Brigid Simmonds chief executive, British Beer & Pub Association; Ted Tuppen, chief executive Enterprise Inns; Roger Whiteside, managing director Punch Taverns; Alistair Darby, managing director Marston’s Pub Company: Paul Wells, Independent Family Brewers chairman; and Simon Longbottom, managing director of Greene King's leased and tenanted division. The Independent Pub Confederation section will kick off at 10.45am with Kate Nicholls, secretary: CAMRA’s chief executive Mike Benner: and Fair Pint campaigners Simon Clarke and Karl Harrison.
