Trof, Manchester-based leisure group, has placed its original site in the city’s Fallowfield area on the market, with an asking price of £595k. It is thought that the group, which is led by managing director Joel Wilkinson, has placed the site on the market to concentrate on its upcoming new openings in the city centre. The site, which was opened 10 years ago, is thought to generate net turnover of around £550,000 a year. The group has recently opened a new bar called Gorilla at the former Green Room on Whitworth Street West and is also planning to open a unit in the Albert Hall site inside Brannigan's on Peter Street. The company currently operates another Trof bar in the city’s Northern Quarter; the Corner bar and restaurant; the Deaf Institute bar; and the Salutation Hotel & Pub.
