Celebrity pub chef Jean-Christophe Novelli has teamed up with a property entrepreneur to launch a chain of gastropubs, according to Property Week.
Novelli and Bridgehouse Capital’s Andy Ruhan are planning to create a chain of 12 gastropubs in and around London. The sites are part of 37 former Massive Pub Company outlets Ruhan bought out of administration earlier this year, for £20m.
The pubs are a mixture of Massive’s Tup and L’Auberge brands and Ruhan has set up investment vehicle Invenntive to invest in more pubs.
Novelli opened his second gastropub the French Horn this summer.
