Luminar this morning reported like-for-like sales for the 26 weeks to 29 August down 3.7%. The group described the results as ‘broadly in line with expectations’. The company has seen some improvement in recent months, with like-for-like sales down 4.1% in July and down 2.2% in August. Two new branded units were opened during the half-year. A further three re-brands and five branded refurbishments were also completed in the period. Luminar said that the re-branded and refurbished units continued to perform in line with plans.
