The iconic Leinster Arms in London’s Bayswater will re-open its doors on 6 June following a six-figure investment from Stonegate Pub Company. The investment by the managed pub company, which runs 333 wet-led pubs owned by TDR Capital, has seen the listed building restored to its former glory whilst “retaining the pub’s traditional values”. The pub has been situated in Bayswater for over 200 years and maintains some great traditions including supporting other British businesses, such as using sausages sourced from family butcher, HG Walters. Adam Odling, licensee of The Leinster Arms, said: “We like to think that The Leinster Arms has the atmosphere of a rural pub with a community feel, yet set in the heart of London.”
