The leasehold interest of the Ion Bar, a West London music venue, has been put up for sale. Landlord Westway, a trust that manages 23 acres of property and land across West London, has appointed Davis Coffer Lyons (DCL) to find a new tenant for the 3,500 sq ft Ladbroke Grove site. The Ion Bar first opened in 1999 and was most recently run by Vince Power’s VPMG group, which also operates nine venues across the capital, including Art Deco venue The Bloomsbury Ballroom and cabaret club The Pigalle Club on Piccadilly. The venue is split over ground and first floor, with a large outside area on the ground floor and a terrace on the first floor. Westway’s portfolio comprises of around 12 business leases ranging from clubs, bars, restaurants and fashionable boutiques.
